Client stories
What growers report after receiving their briefing
These accounts reference specific crops, counties, and report types. One includes a reservation about timing — we publish balanced feedback because forecast work improves when clients tell us what was tight.
The September rice forecast for our 14-hectare block in Goesan matched within four percent of what we actually threshed. The rainfall chart for July helped us explain the dip to our cooperative lender without guessing.
— Kim Min-jun, rice farmer, Goesan-gun · Seasonal Yield Forecast Briefing, 2025
We asked for the apple harvest timeline report two weeks later than ideal. The picking schedule was still usable, though the first-week recommendation felt tight for our crew size — something to discuss earlier next season.
— Park So-yeon, orchard manager, Chungju-si · Harvest Timeline Planning Report, 2025
Our cooperative had seven years of weigh-station tickets in a cardboard box. The plot data review visit turned that into a usable spreadsheet in one afternoon. The briefing that followed finally showed which member blocks dragged the average down.

Extended case: Jecheon Fuji orchard, 2024 season
Client: 3.2-hectare hillside orchard, three Fuji blocks at different elevations.
Challenge: Cold room accepts 120 bins per week; crew of nine pickers; north slope consistently seven days behind south slope.
Our work: Orchard walk in early September, maturity sampling on nine trees, intake spreadsheet matched to bin inventory.
Outcome: Client picked south block weeks one and two, north block week four without overflow. Two bins from the mid-elevation block were held for direct market sale because brix exceeded cold-storage target — noted in the revision round.
Client note: "The wall-chart PDF went on the shed door. Pickers stopped asking which row every morning."
Extended case: Goesan rice lender presentation, 2023
Client: Single-family operation, 11 hectares, bank refinancing in October.
Challenge: Needed a third-party yield projection before threshing to support loan terms.
Our work: Seasonal briefing with executive summary page, rainfall divergence chart, three harvest-window scenarios.
Outcome: Actual yield landed inside the middle scenario band. Lender accepted the briefing as supporting documentation alongside cooperative history.
Client note: "The one-page summary was the only part the bank officer read. Glad it existed."
